“What are Years?” is the title of a poem by Marianne Moore, American modernist poet who loved biology and baseball, and loved wearing tricorne hats and capes in her public appearances. I aspire to be as sassy and quirky and amazingly talented as her when I’m older.
I’m Rosel, an early a mid-twenty-somethinger raised in Vancouver and living in Montreal. Sometimes I write book reviews for the Montreal Review of Books. I used to write for other places too, which you can check out under the “Other writing” page. Right now, I am studying law at McGill University.
I identify as a feminist and an anti-racist, and ponder what that means exactly every day. This blog is a space where I explore those concepts. I also like watching cable television (too much) and having a delicious cheap meal.
